Dear Carl, I am so heartbroken to hear that your two very cute and faithfull friends have passed away, after an exciting life together, exploring many exciting parts of the world with you!!! They truely were the most unusual couple, I’ve had the priviledge to meet. When I look at the picture, you & Akela sitting of the steps of your room, memories come back, as if it was yesterday…should you ever be in Cape Town again or “wisper with another wolf” in the future, our doors at “Cape Diem LODGE” will always be open for you…! I cried…. I love my creatures too and it makes me so sad when they have to go. (I still have one Burmese kitty who is over 19 years old now.) What a moving story this was. Thank you for sharing it.
