The 2014 Eco-Logic Awards, hosted by The Enviropaedia -in association with SABC3, will be held at Maropeng, Cradle of Humankind,  World Heritage site, in Gauteng on 17 September 2014. The opportunity to meet and network with eco-logical leaders, movers and shakers begins  at 10:30 followed by  lunch  at 12:00 and the Eco-Logic Awards ceremony  commencing at 13:45.

The Eco-Logic Awards are  one of South Africa’s most inspirational and influential acknowledgements of individuals and organisations making a real and measurable contribution towards creating a socially and environmentally sustainable world to live in.

The dress code for the Eco-Logic Awards is  ‘Glamorously Green’. Guests are invited to dress up as their ‘Alter-Eco-Ego’ to demonstrate their care and respect for our precious Earth. Those who are brave can create something from recycled material or can dress up as an Eco-Warrior or Eco-Angel. The more elegantly reserved can wear a green coloured outfit or accessorise in green .

There are fabulous prizes to be won for the most bold and Glamorously Green dressed guests. Prizes include a Canon Camera for the  best Eco-Warrior, an Eco-Watch, a weekend’s accommodation at a luxury Safari Lodge for two and a Diamond from De Beers for the most Gorgeously Green Lady.
