The fifth City Walk Saturday continues to encourage Capetonians and visitors to converge on the Mother City’s central hub, for this popular monthly feature on the citizen calendar.
August’s City Walk sees a number of installations celebrating women. From Woman Zones’ Being a Woman in Cape Town Walk (powered by VoiceMap) to Voices Women’s Networks ‘giant gift box’ for women to walk into. Unsung heroes will be lauded at Krotoa’s Chair where the public can write the names of women in Cape Town who have not received the recognition they deserve.The City Walk Saturday experience is family friendly and offers affordable street food stops along the way, as well as many restaurants from which to watch the passing show.
The City Walk invites input from all businesses and individuals who would like to make a contribution to the experience of the walk.
