Each of the 11 rooms and 3 cottages is individually decorated and has been designed to retain the original architectural style with teak framed windows, authentic beamed ceilings and a gabled roof. De Molen Guest House is located in the upmarket suburb of Spanish Farm, Somerset West on the border of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape wine area. It’s ideally situated on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain with inspiring views of the town of Somerset West, False Bay, Hottentot Holland Mountains and the vineyards of Vergelegen and Lourensford. De Molen Guest House has a beautiful, well maintained 1.5 ha. garden and is just 10 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from Cape Town and surrounded by golf courses and South Africa’s top restaurants.
