In the quaint Little Karoo village of De Rust, situated at the southern portal of the famous Meiringspoort{canyon}, you will find Housemartin Guest Lodge offering 12 luxury en suite rooms surrounded by lush gardens, awarded with AA quality assured Highly recommended accommodation.

In the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains in the Little Karoo lies the small vilage of De Rust, where you will find Housemartin Guest Lodge conveniantly situated in the main street.  On arrival our friendly staff will welcome you and usher you to one of our luxury ensuit rooms that will lure you to a gentle relaxation after a days travel.  All rooms have their own private varanda leading into the garden and swimming pool. In the rooms you will find either a Queen size bed or twin beds luxuriously fitted with white percal linen and comfortable inners and electric underblankets for our cold winter months. . We also offer tea, coffee, homemade rusks and port in the rooms. Rooms are also equpiped with Airconditioning, panel heaters and underfloor heating in the bathrooms.

For your convenience we also have a fully functional ala carte restaurant on the premises that will provide you with all your meal requirements.

We are ideally situated in walking distance of otm`s, art galary, gift shops and other tourists attractions. De Rust is centred for various activities such a scenic circular routes, hiking trails, biking trails, bird wacthing, fishing, horse riding, water falls, cango caves ostrich farms and the famous Swartberg pass.
