Somerset Lodge

Somerset Lodge is set in a gorgeous English country garden against a backdrop of magnificent mountains, offers luxury accommodation at affordable prices. Our swimming pool, situated in it's own secret garden, invites guests to relax and unwind, and is the perfect antidote to city stress. We are situated a mere two minutes walk from the Montagu Nature Garden, and our garden is visited by a large variety of bird species. Our rooms are tastefully decorated with every conceivable home comfort, and our linen is of the finest 100% cotton percale.

All our garden rooms are en-suite, and are equipped with Satellite TV (2 channels), Air Conditioners- a welcome tray with tea and coffee, and bar fridges. All rooms have their own private entrances and patios,with braai facilities. In the morning a full breakfast is served in our Dining Room. This includes fresh fruit in season, Yoghurt, cereals, fruit juice, followed by eggs, bacon, sausages and tomato.

This luxury romantic  room, which forms part of our  main building, has a four poster, queen-size oversize bed + en-suite bathroom (Shower & bath) Luxury Carpeting / Air-conditioning + Bar Fridge+ room safe+ hairdryer + D.S.T.V. [ 2 channels ] Coffee / tea facilities.  French doors open  onto your own private patio with wonderfull views over our garden and surrounding mountains. Free Wi-Fi. Braai facilities available.

Room:  KEARSNEY- Self catering family room

This luxury room has a queen size bed. En-suite shower/wc/basin. Kitchenette unit with all facilities. D.S.T.V. on 2 channels. Airconditioning/ Full size fridge-freezer/Room safe / Hairdryer / Tea/Coffee facilities / Sleeper couch that opens to a double bed. Outside the unit there is a table with 6 chairs..Shade- clothed car port  for your comfort.
