The town is situated inside the Kamdeboo National Park of which the famous Valley of Desolation also form part. Graaff-Reinet is beautifully situated in the midst of the foothills of the Sneeuberge (or Snow Mountains) and Spanduakop, with its historical heart encompassed by a broad horseshoe bend of the Sundays River.
The historic house is situated on three plots and are divided into 4 seperate and private units. Each unit has its own bathroom, entrance door and patio with outside chairs. Inside each unit is an airconditioner, a complete kitchenette with all the necessary appliances, wifi, a dining area and emergency lighting during loadshedding. The property is fully enclosed with parking for cars and trailers behind a remote controlled gate.
