La Galiniere Guest Cottages are located on a secluded boutique vineyard close to the centre of Franschhoek. Converted workers' accommodation, the two 3-star, AA 'Highly Recommended' self-catering cottages provide comfortable and affordable accommodation in one of the most beautiful settings in South Africa.
Pinotage Cottage comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds), shower room, and open plan living/dining room with well-equipped kitchenette.
Merlot Cottage comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds), bathroom (shower over bath), well-equipped kitchen, and a living/dining room.
Each cottage has a dining table with four chairs, two sofas and a fireplace. They also come equipped with a microwave, gas/electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, tea/coffee/sugar/milk, satellite TV with wide range of sports and movie channels, heaters and cooling fans, universal plug adapters, complimentary toiletries, towels and quality linen.
Both cottages share a small swimming pool, pool loungers and braai area.
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown on the farm and, although not made on the farm, are harvested, made into wine, bottled and returned to us. A complimentary bottle is provided with every booking.
Children five years of age and under are free of charge. Children six to twelve years of age are half price.
