Sandpiper Cottages is tucked in an unspoilt bay and Nature Conservancy, off the beaten track at the start of the Garden Route. It was the home of the stone age Hunter Gatherers. It is here that the African Black Oyster Catcher can raise its chicks. We provide local travelers and international tourists with an idyllic retreat as they escape to the peace and serenity of BOGGOMSBAAI in the Western Cape. Just about halfway between Port Elizabeth (Nelson Mandela Bay) in the Eastern Cape and Cape Town in the Western Cape, Boggomsbaai is a rustic seaside village that is a celebration of the South Africa of yesteryear.
Here, at Sandpiper Cottages, you have the choice of how you would want to spend a few days in Nature, within walking distance from a 15 km long beach. We have 2 Eco cottages in the bush with sea views. These are solar powered and off the grid, but very comfortable and fully equipped. In addition we have 4 cottages in Boggomsbaai village with TV and WIFI and on the grid. Most of our cottages have indoor and or outside braai facilities. Accomodation ranges from a romantic 2 sleeper cabin to a large house plus annex that sleeps 14.
