Dangerpoint Half Marathon from 07:00am to 12:00pm
The race is run through a fynbos coastal reserve and the fishing village of Gansbaai. Run on a mixture of tarred roads and gravel roads, which are mostly flat and close to the coast. The scenery around Danger Point Lighthouse, where the famous HMS Birkenhead sank, and over Walker Bay, is enjoyable. Starting times: 21.1km: 7am; 10km: 7:30am; 5km: 8am. Enter at Gansbaai Primary School Sports Field on 30 December, from 4 – 7pm, or on race morning, from 5:30 until 15 minutes before the start. Walkers are welcome.
