A first in Africa. Enjoy the unequaled beauty of the indigenous forest high up on ten treetop platforms. Gently glide along in a harness, on steel cables 30 meters above the forest floor. Birdlife is abundant (including Knysna Loeries and the elusive Narina Trogon), and your guides will explain the ecology of the lush primeval forest. Safety is paramount, and the system has been built to civil engineering standards. Guides are fully-trained professionals.

Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours is a fun 2½ to 3 hour interactive tour in the Tsitsikamma indigenous forest. This First in Africa treetop tour is run by a company called Stormsriver Adventures. You are guaranteed to have a forest experience you’ll never forget. Stormsriver Adventures is a Fair Trade company involved in numerous community projects and has won numerous local and national awards. Passion and value for money is their key to success.

The Tour runs daily from 08:00(in school holidays earlier). Kids 4 years (depending on size and capability) and older are welcome. Maximum 8 pax per group. Tours conducted in all weather conditions,but can be cancelled in the interest of safety . Pregnant ladies not allowed on the excursion. Maximum weight 120kg.
