The Cape Gallery has put together a selection of work by a group of artists who capture the faces, laughter and energy that make up Cape Town’s labyrinth of life.
Participating artists include: Tyrone Appollis, Kenneth Baker, Patrick Cordingley, Christopher Mafafo, Charles Maleka, Billy Mandindi, Vuyisani Mgijima, Solomon Siko, Gerald Tabata, Meshack Tembani and Mandla Vanyaza
Cape Town’s culture is unmistakable. From the sun setting as Table Mountain is covered by its white sheath to the drone of busses, taxis and trains around the city centre; the local hairdressers, businesses and corner shops; Friday night fish and chips; smileys; the music and neighbourly conversations over fences and washing lines.
