Welcoming all wine and outdoor adventurers to our Darling Cellars Annual Crush Day. 27 February 2016 is the ideal opportunity to hit the road and venture out to the scenic Darling winelands. This lively, family friendly soiree features a tractor ride to the vineyard, picking your own grapes, stomping contests, food markets and live music.
The day includes:
Darling Breakfast -including a Darling yoghurt, juice & water
Bushvine Tractor Ride into our vineyards where you can hand-harvest perfect grapes
Crush your Grapes in footstomping teams of two
Wine Label Competition -design your own label. The winning label will be applied to all the 2016 Crush Day wine which will be ready for collection within 8 - 10 months
Lekker Lunch - enjoy lamb on the spit with all the trimmings
Goody Bag - a bottle of Darling Cellars wine & a Crush Day cap
There will also be winetasting & sales; A live band and dj; market stalls to purchase locally produced goods and lots of fun activities for the kids including treasure hunt, facepainting, waterslides & lots of prizes up for grabs including a prize for the best dressed team of two
You will need: sunblock, towel, swimsuit and set of dry clothes, picnic blanket. Cash to buy wine, cooldrinks, snacks and other goodies on sale at the market stalls. Designated driver.
