Small 5 bedroom privately owned guest house, offering comfortable ensuite accommodation with stunning views over False Bay. We offer a fabulous full breakfast, with fresh seasonal fruits, yogurt, cereal, juices, bread, coffee/tea, sizzling bacon & eggs that will tickle your tastebuds. Each room has its own fridge, DSTv and safe.
Harbour View is poised high on the mountain slopes of Hottentots Holland and Steenbras mountain range, views stretching from Simon's Town, Table Mountain and the harbour at Gordon's Bay.
Gordon's Bay is nestled eastern side of False Bay which is the largest bay in Africa. We are centrally situated to visit historical Stellenbosch, the wonderful Wine Routes of The Elgin Valley, as well as Cape Town, V&A Waterfront and the cable car to the top of Table Mountain.
Gordon's Bay was named after a Dutch military officer, Robert Jacob Gordon, who commanded the Cape garrison in the latter part of the 18th century. Gordon's Bay is home to the S A Naval College and training for Naval cadets.
We are a stones throw away from the secluded, Blue Flag status, Bikini Beach which comes alive with holiday makers in summer. Lifeguards are on duty during the season. Watch all the familiar watersport events from the main or private balconies. There are excellent mountain biking routes in the Elgin Valley, home to the Wine to Whales cycle race and stages of the ABSA Cape Epic.
