The following program has been set out for 2013. We will start off early (07h00) during the Summer months and a little later 08h00 during the Winter months. Membership Fees will be R50.00 for new members and Free for existing members. Costs per hike will either go towards fuel expenses or entrance fees. Also, bring some extra money in case costs are higher than anticipated or when we stop for refreshments en-route etc. Please also bring correct amounts as change are not always available.

Sat 2 March 2013: Steynsbos…….Start 07:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Russ Griffith 074-357-4298. Cost: R20 pp, plus R25 for guests and members without membership cards

Sat 30 March: Easter Hike. Klipgat hiking route from Gansbaai to De Plaat. We may visit some caves along the route, so bring a flashlight. Start 07:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Otto Boysen. Cost: R20 pp, plus money for entrance fee.

Sat 6 April 2013: Fernkloof Hermanus. Start 07:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Rob Koppel 082-665-5011. Cost : R30 pp + entrance fee.

Sat 4 May 2013: Napier & Gold mines. Start 08:00 at Gansbaai Info [note later starting time in winter months]. Leader: Con van Eyssen 083-500-8748. Cost: R40 pp, plus entrance fee.

Sat 1 June 2013: ‘Fees van die Ganse’. Duynefonteyn mountain route. Start 08:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Dave Privett 079-410-1342. Cost: R20 pp as contribution to the Fees.
Sat 6 July 2013: Mount Dyer mountain route. Start: 08:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Paul Adams. 082-218-8738. Cost: R20 pp.

Sat 3 Aug 2013: Baardskeerdersbos route. Start: 08:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Desirè Pitzer 082-878-9552. Cost: R30 pp.

Sat 7 Sept 2013: Hermanus/Stanford mountains. Start: 08:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: John Burgoyne 082-566-4495. Cost: R30 pp.

Sat 5 Oct 2013: Swartberg route. Caledon Wild Flower Gardens. Start: 07:00 [note earlier start for summer months] at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Dirk Bester 083-961-5461. Cost: R40 pp, plus entrance fee.

Sat 2 Nov 2013: Kleinmond Kogelberg. Start: 07:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Mimi 079-410-1342. Cost: R50 pp.

Sat 7 Dec 2013: Year End Hike. Swartkrans to Witkrans. Start: 07:00 at Gansbaai Info. Leader: Roelof Diener 082-552-5444 or Sean Privett 082-411-1008. Cost: R20 pp, plus R25 for non-members. This will be followed by a ‘Bring & Braai' on the farm. So please remember to bring something to braai + something to drink.

This is a gu. Please bear in mind that hikes can change without prior notice, as we have to take the weather, tides etc. into consideration. Please keep yourselves up to date with details and changes.
