Amid the rolling hills of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands you will find iNsingizi Lodge and Spa tucked away in a beautiful secret valley. It has an air of tranquillity and a “get away from it all” feel that has made it a destination of choice for more and more returning visitors. The thatched chalets, the honeymoon suite on stilts and the tastefully  ethnic  boma and bar offer you total tranquillity under African skies. We invite you to join us for an intriguing getaway where you will experience the wonders of nature and the African bush not to mention the gracious hospitality and personal service out the top drawer!

Our chalets are nestled amongst indigenous trees and spread out to ensure maximum privacy. The thatched buildings are comfortable and spacious with en suite bathrooms – with a shower. All the chalets have tea and coffee making facilities. The covered verandas mean you can sit and relax while watching the tame duiker and mongoose wander around the gardens

Our spa is renowned for its friendly and relaxed style. What could be better than listening to the sounds of nature while enjoying a fabulous full body hot stone massage?

Our conference venue is ideal for small company get together where staff can get away from all the distractions of city life and concentrate on the issues at hand. iNsingizi’s conference packages are tailored to ensure you get great value for your time and budget

More and more people are finding iNsingizi the ideal venue for weddings and other celebrations. Our professional and personable staff will ensure your function is all you dreamed it would be. While you relax and enjoy the day, everything will be responsibly and meticulously handled by us

Our menus are simple and reflect the seasons – using local ingredients where possible.

iNsingizi lodge and spa is a treat in every respect – as our previous guests will attest. It is close to both Pietermaritzburg and Durban and the perfect escape from the busy and frenetic pace of modern life

What you have here is a personable and lovely African themed lodge and spa that offers a close-by, inexpensive and fun-filled escape in KwaZulu-Natal that just really needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you
