Alex is in his mid 30s, single, with a sardonic sense of humour. He is also partial to chocolate milkshakes and addicted to singing songs in his head. And a cripple. A seriously out-of-whack, weirdly angled, abnormal-like, stiffly moving type of cripple. Alex employs his sharp sense of humour to defuse your reaction to his body and this keeps him safe, immune to hurt, protected within his own sense of normality. Until he meets Lisa and everything goes awry.
