The Mosaic Lagoon Cafe’ in the historic 1892 Spookhuis is one of Mosaic’s great attractions. Built of stacked limestone blocks in 1892, the Spookhuis is home to our daytime cafe’ on the water, offering sandwiches, salads, freshly baked breads, muffins, pastries, desserts, cured meats, cheese platters, preserves, infused oils and organic vegetables. Gourmet picnic baskets can be ordered and enjoyed in the most divine setting under the milkwood trees on the lagoon, or around roaring fires inside if there is a chill in the air.
