Kastandras offers the choice of two units: a stylish cottage which can sleep up to 4 or a a bedsit suitable for up to 2. Both units have DSTV, wifi and are fully equipped. A continental breakfast can be provided by arrangement.

Kastandras is situated in the quiet historical suburb of Mount Croix which has views of the sea. Mount Croix is ideal for quiet walks of reflection and is within walking distance of the shops in Westbourne Rd ( clothing, pharmacy, bottle store, hairdressers, pizza take-away) and the Spar in Cape Road. It is possible to walk also to the trendy restaurant and coffee shop area of Richmond Hill over the footbridge that spans Albany Road. There is easy access to the beachfront or airport onto the highway via either Mount Road or Albany Road which are the two main arterial roads running seawards on either side of the suburb. The stadium, Greenacres shopping centre, Grey and Collegiate school, the cities' two main hospitals and St Georges Park are all less than a 10-minute drive away.

The one-bedroom self catering cottage has a spacious kitchen/lounge area with a breakfast counter, bar stools, couch - doubling as a king-size sleeper couch – flat-screen TV and coffee table. This unit is ideal for a professional, couple, up to 4 friends or a family with children. Should you wish to cater for yourself rather than take advantage of the city's wide choice of restaurants, the self catering cottage is well-equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, 2 plate gas stove, toaster and all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery you might require.  The bedroom has twin beds (convertible to a king) and looks out onto the braai and pool area, which are there for your use.  The artistically decorated bathroom has a bath and shower combination, toilet and hand basin.

The Out of Africa Bedsit is ideal for a single professional or visitor or a couple. It has all the basic furniture items you may require. There is a comfortable double bed, a large cupboard, medium-size fridge, flat screen TV with DSTV, a direct wifi cord which stretches to where you are in the unit. There is a desk with a lamp, a heater, 2-plate gas stove and kitchen unit with crockery, cutlery and appliances.

Both units are serviced weekly when fresh towels and linen are provided. Laundry is an optional extra. There is a pool and braai area with outside garden furniture available for the tenants use.
