La Galiniere Guest Cottages are located on a secluded boutique vineyard close to the centre of Franschhoek. Converted workers' accommodation, the three 3-star, AA 'Highly Recommended' self-catering cottages provide comfortable and affordable accommodation in one of the most beautiful settings in South Africa.
The smallest cottage, Shiraz, comprises a bedroom (king or twin beds), shower room, well-equipped kitchen and small hallway.
Cabernet Cottage comprises a double bedroom, bathroom (shower over bath), a well-equipped kitchen and a good size living room (sofa bed, sofa, fireplace, dining table and four chairs)
The largest cottage, Merlot, comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds), bathroom (shower over bath), well-equipped kitchen, and a living room (2 sofas, fireplace, dining table and four chairs).
Each cottage includes a microwave, gas/electric oven and hob, fridge or fridge freezer, tea/coffee/sugar/milk, satellite TV with wide range of sports and movie channels, heaters and cooling fans, universal plug adapters, complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels and quality linen.
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown on the farm and, although not made on the farm, are harvested, made into wine, bottled and returned to us. A complimentary bottle is provided with every booking.
Children five years of age and under are free of charge. Children six to twelve years of age are half price.
