The accommodation in the main house consists of four generous farm-style, en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts magnificent views of the surrounding landscapes and will make you feel like staying in bed for the whole day. There is also a country, dormitory-style bedroom for the kids to enjoy( on request we can move beds to suit your needs).
The open-entertainment areas boast a pizza oven, lounges with a piano, a self-catering kitchen for those avid chefs who want to try their hand at something new. This kitchen offers all necessary equipment for the Gourmet chef. This 5 star kitchen with plenty of space will exceed all your culinary needs. Make your own pasta or pizzas.
There are open farm size hearths, so big , you can walk inside it. The outside veranda oozes lots of charm and different mood settings. Our gracious pool for daytime lounging and a massage or two on the veranda, are a hit.
We also offer various packages to suit your needs and ensure your stay is memorable. Guests leave with the desire to return as soon as possible. Whatever your preference, we strive to accommodate.
Locke Stone Villa is situated on a working farm in the heart of the beautiful Strandveld valley just outside Stanford and 18km from Elim.
The farm sits on small hill and therefore boasts spectacular views of the surrounding area. There are also 4 dams on the farm where the largest one is stocked with bass and tilapia. Why don't you come wet a line in the morning mist of the Overberg?
We currently have 160 Dohne Merino Ewes, 40 Nguni cattle and over 1000 free range Lohman Brown chickens which calls Locke Stone Farm home.
Our main focus on the farm is our pasture fed free range chicken eggs, we supply the freshest eggs to our customers in and around Hermanus, whereby Saturday's we sell our farm produce on the Hermanus Country market. We also have free range lamb which we have limited stock of at only R55 p/kg for the festive seasons.
Just outside the main kitchen sits our lovely organic vegetable garden consisting of a variety of leaves and vegetables ready for the cooking pot.
We offer the most romantic and luxurious Honeymoon or anniversary setting. Ideal for a special occasion or much needed romantic week or weekend away, with romance, tranquility and privacy. All rooms are spacious, include en-suite bathrooms and are all designed with your comfort in mind offering charming accommodation and expected services to invite you to relax and unwind. All our farm-style rooms are individually appointed and have comfortable cotton linen and towels. We offer basic swimming towels.
