This wonderful cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway. Crisp white linen, large indoor fireplace and an outdoor bath and shower in the forest offering hot water, bubble bath and moonlight.
Also perfect for a family of all ages. We have little lambs, 2 friendly but greedy donkeys, a veg garden where you can pick whichever produce is in season, a dam to swim in and mountain bike trails. Tucked away in the poplar forest you have complete privacy but are only a few kilometers away from the village. You can pop down for the newspaper and fresh rolls or take a stroll, visiting the interesting bric a brac shops and maybe stopping for a chilled glass of wine and a nibble. The Saturday morning market offers a selection of delicious home made cheeses, breads, pates, preserves and fresh produce. Fill your basket, toodle off to the cottage and enjoy your lunch on our big stoep or under the Oak tree.
The cottage has 2 en suite bedrooms, on either side of the house for privacy, as well as a spacious loft sleeping 2 singles.
The dover stove is an absolute winner in Winter. Leave your soup to simmer while listening to the patter of rain on the roof as you snuggle up at the fireplace with your book ( or loved one. )
No tv, microwave and limited cel phone reception.... Bliss
