This is South Africa’s biggest bodyboarding contest and Plett’s longest running event!
The Wedge is known for its unpredictable nature and a lot will depend on the forces of Mother Nature as to whether the swell that all the riders are hoping for, arrives. The event expects to attract more than 150 entrants many of whom are South Africa’s best bodyboarders. The contestants come from all around the country and are ready to battle each other for the coveted “King of the Wedge” title. Come and support these contestants as the beach should be as busy as the waves.
