Vaalvlei is a working wine farm with wine tasting and self catering accommodation. We also offer fly-fishing for trout and bass. The farm is situated in the Stanford valley with breathtaking views of the Kleinrivier mountains.On Vaalvlei you can relax and get away form the city noise.
The 3 ha vineyard is planted on "koffieklip" and sandstone soils and the proximity from Walker Bay can also be observed in our wines. Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz grapes are produced in this new and exciting wine producing area and are used to make handcrafted wines.
Vaalvlei Tasting Room
The Terblanche family would love to share the fruit of their labour with you. Wines available for tasting are Vaalvlei Sauvignon Blanc , Shiraz and our very special Shiraz Reserve made at our own cellar at Vaalvlei.
The tasting room is usually open by appointment but keep an eye out for our banners and advertising. Tasting is FREE.
