We all love the timeless music of great musicians such as ABBA, Freddie Mercury and the BeeGees. Join Durbanville Hills Wines for a concert on 15 August in aid of the Môresterretjie crèche, established for the children of farm workers in the area.
The crèche is a day-care centre established by the Durbanville Hills Workers’ Trust and community groups including Kenridge NG Church, BADISA and Koos de Villiers from member farm Morgenster for the children of farm workers in the Durbanville area. Proceeds from the evening’s ticket sales will greatly assist in funding the crèche where trained teachers take care of the well-being and early learning development of children, aged between three and five. The Trust operates as the social investment arm of Durbanville Hills, working towards improving the quality of life of employees on the surrounding farms as well as of their children. To fund its community involvement, the Trust has initiated several income- generating projects and this performance is one such initiative.
