Jazzart presents an explosive celebration of dance from across the country in Azishe!
Translated from isiZulu, azishe means “let it burn”, and the festival name comes from the energy and passion that its participants bring to the stage. The programme features established professional dancers, emerging companies and outreach programmes from all over South Africa. Jazzart will present four works, with performances from Dreamfinders from Kwa-Zulu Natal, Lumanyano Cultural Group in the Eastern Cape and the Daveyton Arts Foundation in Gauteng.
